About SLO Motion
Our team was founded in 2004 and has been working its way up ever since. Over the years, we have gradually built the program into the two teams it is today. Each team competes in about 2-3 tournaments a quarter in California against top tier teams in the Southwest Region of USA Ultimate. We welcome everyone that is interested in learning a new sport, meeting great people, or just running around in the sun and throwing a disc. No experience necessary.

Our mission is to use our intense spirit for the game and a passionate work ethic to establish a welcoming, safe, inclusive, and accessible community that strives for excellence on and off the field.
Meet Our B Team
Meet Our A Team
A Team is the place for players with a competitive drive and people that enjoy a physical challenge. A Team practices 3 times a week and supplements with outside workouts and throwing. While we love to play our hearts out on the field, we also feel that bonding off the field is the key to our success. We can only truly mesh when we trust each other and treat each other like family. That is why we aim to create a welcoming and inclusive environment to all interested people! We look for players with a willingness to learn, a drive to grind, and an open heart.
Meet Our B Team

B team is SLO Motion’s developmental team, where we primarily focus on familiarizing players with ultimate and expanding our skills on the field. B team, in comparison, has a less competitive environment and is also less of a time commitment than A team. B team practices 2 times a week with optional activities outside practice. While we still like to win, our main goal is simply to grow our abilities every time we play. B team is great for players who are new to the sport, have busier schedules, or just want to have a fun time with an amazing frisbee family!
